The Fractal Design Define XL R2 is a full tower case that supports ATX, Micro ATX, mini-ITX, E-ATX, and XL-ATX motherboards. It measures 232 x 559 x 560 mm and weighs 16.4 kg. The case features 8 internal 3.5" HDD/SSD bays and 4 external 5.25" bays, along with 9 expansion slots. Maximum GPU length is 330 mm, and maximum CPU cooler height is 170 mm. Front I/O includes 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, audio jacks, a power button with blue LED, a reset button, and a fan controller behind the door. It comes pre-installed with three 140 mm Silent Series R2 fans (hydraulic bearing, 1000 RPM). The side panel is made of industrial sound-dampened steel.
