What we collect and why

1. Cookieless web analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, referrer, country, device type). Ahrefs Web Analytics does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not identify individuals. Data is aggregated by IP address and not retained at an identifying level. Because the service is cookieless and the data is aggregated, no consent banner is required.

  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1.f) in measuring traffic to improve the site.
  • Provider: Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. — see their privacy policy.

2. Server logs

The hosting infrastructure records standard HTTP request logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, user agent, status code) for security, abuse detection, and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated and not used for analytics or profiling.

  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1.f) in keeping the service running and secure.
  • Retention: typically 30 days, longer only when an incident is under investigation.

3. Administrative access

The site has a single administrator account used by the operator. Authentication uses a session cookie that is strictly necessary for the admin interface to function and is not used for any other purpose. No public user accounts exist.

4. Email correspondence

If you email us, we will process your email address and the content of your message to respond. We do not add senders to any mailing list and do not share addresses with third parties.

  • Legal basis: your consent in initiating contact (GDPR Art. 6.1.a) and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6.1.f).

What we do not do

  • We do not show advertisements and we do not use ad tracking.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar cookie-based trackers.
  • We do not run a newsletter and we do not have user registration.

International transfers

Ahrefs Web Analytics processes data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their privacy policy. No other personal data is intentionally transferred outside the EEA.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as data portability where applicable. To exercise these rights, email info@pchardware.org.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our processing changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
