The AMD 690V chipset, released in 2007, is a Socket AM2 chipset with integrated DirectX 9.0 graphics and A-Link Express II platform.

The AMD 690V chipset is a motherboard chipset introduced in February 2007 for Socket AM2 processors. It is built on an 80 nm process and uses the A-Link Express II platform interconnect. The chipset features integrated graphics with DirectX 9.0 support and AVIVO video technology, enabling HDMI output with HDCP. It does not support LVDS. The 690V is designed for use with AMD Athlon 64 and Sempron processors in Socket AM2.
