The AMD M7808 is a chipset introduced in 2008 for AMD's Puma Platform. It is manufactured on a 55 nm process and supports PCIe 2.0 with a total of 16 chipset lanes. The chipset integrates DirectX 10 graphics capabilities and UVD+ video decoding, along with support for HDMI/HDCP, DisplayPort, DVI, and VGA outputs. It also includes PowerXpress technology for graphics switching. As part of the Puma Platform, the M7808 is designed to work with AMD processors and associated components from that platform. It offers a single PCIe 2.0 x16 connection for discrete graphics, enabling flexible display configurations.
