It supports FPM and EDO memory types with a maximum capacity of 128 GB, but does not support ECC memory. The chipset uses the MPIIX south bridge and operates with front-side bus speeds of 50, 60, or 66 MHz. It supports PCI 2.0 but lacks AGP support. The L2 cache can be either asynchronous or pipeline burst, with a maximum cacheable memory of 64 MB. The 430MX is intended for use with Intel Pentium processors in mobile systems.
