The chipset supports up to 4-way symmetric multiprocessing (SMP). Fabricated on a 150 nm process, the 82454GX supports FPM memory with a maximum capacity of 8 GB and ECC memory. It features PCIe 2.0. The south bridge options include SIO.A for ISA or PCEB/ESC for EISA. The chipset was discontinued on December 31, 2016.
