Intel 82P965

The Intel 82P965 is a chipset designed for Intel's LGA 775 socket, introduced in June 2006 as part of the Broadwater(P) platform. It is built on a 130 nm process node. The chipset supports DDR2 memory at speeds of 533, 667, and 800 MHz, with a maximum capacity of 8 GB. It does not support ECC memory. For expansion, it provides PCI Express 1.0 connectivity. This chipset is intended for use with compatible Intel Core 2 Duo and Pentium D processors of the era.
