The Intel 945PM is a chipset designed for mobile platforms, using Socket M and part of the Calistoga platform. It was released in January 2006 and manufactured on a 90 nm process with a TDP of 7 W. The chipset supports DDR2 memory at speeds of 400, 533, and 667 MHz, with a maximum capacity of 4 GB across two channels. It does not support ECC memory. For expansion, the 945PM provides 16 PCIe 1.0 lanes and uses DMI 1.0 for interconnect. It includes 4 SATA III ports and 8 USB 2.0 ports. This chipset is a successor to the Intel 915PM and was succeeded by the Intel 965PM.
