The Intel B560 is a chipset for desktop platforms using the LGA 1200 socket, released in January 2021. It has a TDP of 6 W and supports DDR4 memory without ECC. The chipset provides 12 PCIe 3.0 lanes and uses DMI 3.0 for communication with the CPU. It offers six SATA III ports and a variety of USB ports: two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, six USB 3.2 Gen 1, and twelve USB 2.0. Integrated Wi-Fi is Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201. The chipset supports Intel Rapid Storage Technology and memory overclocking via XMP/EXPO, but does not support CPU overclocking. It is discontinued.
