Storage and connectivity include 6 SATA III ports, 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 8 USB 2.0 ports. It features Intel Rapid Storage Technology and supports memory overclocking (XMP), but not CPU overclocking. Compatible form factors are ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. The H97 succeeded the H87 and was succeeded by the H170.
