Intel DH82Z97

The Intel DH82Z97 (Z97) is a chipset for desktop platforms using the LGA 1150 socket. It was released in May 2014 and is now discontinued, succeeding the Z87 and succeeded by the Z170. The chipset supports DDR3 memory with a maximum capacity of 32 GB across two channels, but does not support ECC memory. It features 6 SATA III ports, 6 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 8 USB 2.0 ports, with no USB 3.2 Gen 2 support. The chipset provides 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes and uses DMI 2.0 for interconnect. It includes an integrated Ethernet MAC, Intel Rapid Storage Technology, and supports CPU and memory overclocking (XMP). The TDP is 4.1 W.
