It is built on a 65 nm process and supports PCI Express 2.0 with 16 lanes from the chipset. Memory support includes DDR2 at 667/800 MHz and DDR3 at 800/1066 MHz, with a maximum of 16 GB across two channels. ECC memory is not supported. The G45 is designed for use with Intel Core 2 processors and other LGA 775 CPUs.
