It has a TDP of 6 W and supports PCIe 3.0 with 6 chipset lanes and DMI 3.0. The chipset provides 4 SATA III ports, 6 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 10 USB 2.0 ports, but lacks USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, and USB4 support. It includes an integrated MAC for Ethernet but no integrated Wi-Fi. ECC memory is not supported, and memory overclocking (XMP/EXPO) is not available. Intel Rapid Storage Technology is supported. The H420E is intended for use with Intel Core processors of the Comet Lake generation.
