The Intel H470 is a chipset designed for desktop platforms using the LGA 1200 socket, released in April 2020. It has a TDP of 6 W and supports PCIe 3.0 with a total of 20 chipset lanes. The DMI 3.0 interface connects the chipset to the CPU. Memory support is limited to non-ECC DDR4, and neither CPU nor memory overclocking is supported. Storage connectivity includes six SATA III ports. USB options include four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, eight USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and fourteen USB 2.0 ports. The chipset also features integrated Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Intel Rapid Storage Technology. It was launched with an MSRP of $35.
