Intel HM65

The Intel HM65 is a mobile chipset for Socket G2/G3, released in 2011. It supports DDR3-1333 memory and provides 6 SATA III ports.

The Intel HM65 is a mobile chipset introduced in 2011, designed for use with Intel's second-generation Core processors (Sandy Bridge) in laptops. It uses the 32 nm process and has a TDP of 3.9 W. The chipset supports up to 16 GB of DDR3-1333 memory across two channels, without ECC support. It provides 6 SATA III ports and 12 USB 2.0 ports, but lacks USB 3.0. It includes Intel Rapid Storage Technology but does not support vPro or CPU/memory overclocking. The HM65 connects to the CPU via DMI 2.0 and offers 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes. It is available in BGA and rPGA form factors. It succeeded the HM55 and was later replaced by the HM76.
