The chipset provides 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes and supports DMI 2.0. Memory support includes DDR3/L/-RS at 1333/1600 MHz, up to 16 GB across two channels, without ECC support. Storage connectivity includes 6 SATA III ports, while USB connectivity offers 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and 10 USB 2.0 ports. Intel Rapid Storage Technology is supported. The HM77 succeeded the HM65 and was followed by the HM87.
