The chipset provides 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes, 6 SATA III ports, 5 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 10 USB 2.0 ports. It supports up to 16 GB of DDR3L memory at 1333/1600 MHz across two channels, without ECC. Intel Rapid Storage Technology is included. The HM86 was discontinued in December 2015, with a launch MSRP of $43.
