The chipset supports up to 64 GB of dual-channel DDR3L or DDR4 memory without ECC support. It provides 20 PCIe 3.0 lanes, 6 SATA III ports, 10 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 14 USB 2.0 ports. It includes Intel Rapid Storage Technology and vPro support, but does not support CPU or memory overclocking. The chipset features an integrated MAC for Ethernet and comes in a 23mm x 23mm form factor. It is used with Intel Skylake and Kaby Lake processors on LGA 1151 rev 1 motherboards.
