The chipset supports DDR3-1333 memory in dual-channel configuration up to 16 GB, without ECC support. It provides 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes and 14 USB 2.0 ports, but lacks USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt. Storage connectivity includes 6 SATA III ports. The QM67 integrates Intel Rapid Storage Technology and vPro support, but does not allow CPU or memory overclocking. It is designed for BGA form factors and was succeeded by the QM77 in 2012.
