Intel X58 1

The Intel X58 is a chipset designed for Intel's LGA1366 socket, introduced in November 2008 as part of the Tylersburg platform. It supports DDR3 memory with three channels and a maximum capacity of 16 GB, including ECC memory support. The chipset provides 36 PCIe 2.0 lanes, six SATA III ports, and twelve USB 2.0 ports. It also features integrated Gigabit Ethernet and Intel Rapid Storage Technology. With a TDP of 28.6 W, the X58 chipset was used in high-end desktop and workstation motherboards paired with Intel Core i7 processors from the Bloomfield and Gulftown families.
