SB710

The SB710 is a southbridge chip released by AMD in 2008 as part of the AMD 700 chipset series. It is designed for motherboards with the AM3 socket. Manufactured on a 130 nm process, it has a thermal design power (TDP) of 4.5 W. The chip provides six SATA III ports and twelve USB 2.0 ports. It supports DASH 1.0 (Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware), a management technology.
