SB750

The SB750 is a southbridge chip released by AMD in 2008 as part of the AMD 700 chipset series. It is designed for Socket AM2+ platforms and manufactured on a 130 nm process with a TDP of 4.5 W. The chip provides six SATA III ports and twelve USB 2.0 ports. It also supports DASH 1.0 (Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware), a management technology. The SB750 is typically paired with an AMD 700 series northbridge, such as the 790FX or 790GX, to form a complete chipset for AMD processors.
