The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super is a high-performance graphics card launched on July 23, 2019, as a mid-cycle refresh of the RTX 2080. It is built on the Turing architecture using the TU104-450 GPU chip on a 12 nm process node. The card features 3072 shading units, 48 ray tracing cores, and 384 Tensor/AI cores, with base and boost clocks of 1650 MHz and 1815 MHz respectively. It comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, providing a memory bandwidth of 496 GB/s. The board power (TDP) is 250 W, and it uses a PCIe 3.0 x16 bus interface. It supports DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, and OpenGL 4.6. The launch MSRP was 699 USD. It succeeded the GeForce RTX 2080 and was succeeded by the GeForce RTX 30 series.
