Radeon HD 6450

The Radeon HD 6450 is an entry-level graphics card from AMD, released on February 7, 2011, with a launch MSRP of $55. It is based on the TeraScale 2 architecture and uses the Caicos GPU chip fabricated on a 40 nm process. The card features 160 shading units, a base clock of 625 MHz, and a boost clock of 750 MHz. It is equipped with 0.5 GB of DDR3 memory on a 64-bit bus, providing a memory bandwidth of 8.5 GB/s. The card has a board power (TDP) of 27 W and connects via a PCIe 2.1 ×16 interface. It supports DirectX 11.0 and OpenGL 4.5. The Radeon HD 6450 is the successor to the Radeon HD 5450 and is designed for basic computing tasks and light multimedia use.
