The Intel Celeron CPU 1017U is a low-power processor based on the Ivy Bridge microarchitecture, manufactured on a 22 nm process. It features two cores and two threads with a base clock speed of 1.60 GHz. The processor includes 0.5 MB of L2 cache and 2 MB of L3 cache, with a thermal design power (TDP) of 17 W. It supports up to two channels of DDR3/L/-RS 1333/1600 memory and does not support ECC memory. Integrated graphics are provided by Intel HD Graphics for 3rd Generation Intel Processors. The CPU has 16 PCIe 2.0 lanes and supports 64-bit computing along with Intel SSE4.1 and SSE4.2 instruction sets. It uses the FCBGA1023 socket and was launched with an MSRP of $86. The processor was discontinued on December 31, 2019.
