Intel Core 5 220U

The Intel Core 5 220U is a mobile processor based on the Raptor Lake-U Refresh microarchitecture, released in January 2025. It features 10 cores (2 performance cores and 8 efficient cores) and 12 threads, with a base clock of 1.4 GHz and a boost clock of 5.0 GHz. The processor includes 12 MB of L3 cache and is manufactured on a 7 nm process node. With a base power of 15 W and a maximum turbo power of 55 W, the Core 5 220U is designed for thin and light laptops. It supports DDR5-5200, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5/X-6400, and LPDDR4X-4267 memory across two channels, but does not support ECC memory. The integrated Intel Graphics handles display output. The processor uses the FCBGA1744 socket and provides 20 PCIe Gen 4 lanes. It supports 64-bit computing, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, and AVX2 instruction sets, but has an unlocked multiplier.
