Intel Core i5-1245U

The Intel Core i5-1245U is a mobile processor from Intel's 12th generation Alder Lake family, launched in 2022. It has a hybrid architecture with 2 performance cores (P-cores) and 8 efficiency cores (E-cores), totaling 10 cores and 12 threads. The P-cores can boost up to 4.40 GHz, while the E-cores operate at lower frequencies. The processor includes 12 MB of L3 cache and is built on Intel's 7 nm process node. With a base power of 15 W and a maximum turbo power of 55 W, the i5-1245U is designed for thin and light laptops. It supports up to DDR5 4800 MT/s, DDR4 3200 MT/s, LPDDR5 5200 MT/s, and LPDDR4x 4267 MT/s memory across two channels, but does not support ECC memory. The integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics eligible provides basic graphical capabilities. The processor has 20 PCIe Gen 4 lanes and supports instruction sets including SSE4.1, SSE4.2, and AVX2. It uses the FCBGA1744 socket.
