Intel Core M 5Y10c CPU

The Intel Core M 5Y10c is a 2014 dual-core processor based on the Broadwell microarchitecture, designed for fanless ultra-mobile devices.

The Intel Core M 5Y10c is a low-power processor from the Broadwell family, released in October 2014. It features 2 cores and 4 threads with a base clock of 0.8 GHz and a boost clock of 2.0 GHz. The CPU includes 4 MB of L3 cache and is manufactured on a 14 nm process with a TDP of only 4.5 W, enabling fanless designs in tablets and ultra-thin laptops. It supports up to LPDDR3-1600 or DDR3L-1600 memory across two channels, but does not support ECC memory. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 5300 handles display output. The processor uses the FCBGA1234 socket and provides 12 PCIe 2.0 lanes. It supports 64-bit computing and instruction sets including SSE4.1, SSE4.2, and AVX2. The multiplier is locked, so overclocking is not supported. Production was discontinued in June 2021.
