The Intel Xeon 678X is a high-core-count server processor built on the Granite Rapids microarchitecture. It features 48 performance cores (P-cores) and 96 threads, with a base clock of 2.4 GHz and a boost clock of 4.9 GHz. The processor includes 192 MB of L3 cache and is manufactured on a 3 nm process node. It has a TDP of 300 W and a maximum turbo power of 360 W. The Xeon 678X supports DDR5 memory at 6400 MT/s and MRDIMM at 8000 MT/s across eight memory channels, with ECC support. It provides 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes and supports instruction sets including Intel SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX2, AVX-512, and AMX. The processor uses the FCLGA4710 socket and was released in 2026 with a launch MSRP of $4,129.
