The Intel Xeon 6990E+ is a high-core-count server processor launched in June 2026. It features 288 efficiency cores (E-cores) and 288 threads, with no performance cores (P-cores). The base clock is 2.2 GHz, boosting up to 3.2 GHz. It includes 576 MB of L3 cache and is built on an 18 nm process node. The processor has a TDP of 450 W and uses the FCLGA7529 socket. Memory support includes DDR5-RDIMM at 8000 MT/s with one DIMM per channel, across 12 memory channels, and ECC memory is supported. The CPU provides 96 PCIe Gen5 lanes.
