The Intel B860 is a desktop chipset designed for LGA 1851 sockets, released in January 2025. It supports PCIe 4.0 with 14 chipset lanes and DMI 4.0. The chipset provides dual memory channels without ECC support, four SATA III ports, and a range of USB ports including two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, six USB 3.2 Gen 1, and twelve USB 2.0 ports. It integrates an Ethernet MAC and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211(Gig+). Intel Rapid Storage Technology is supported, but vPro and CPU overclocking are not. Memory overclocking via XMP/EXPO is enabled. The chipset has a launch MSRP of $31.
