The X470 is a chipset for AMD's AM4 platform, introduced in March 2018 as a successor to the X370. It provides 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes from the chipset, 8 SATA III ports, and a total of 14 USB ports: 6 USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1, and 6 USB 2.0. It supports DDR4 memory with ECC capability and allows CPU overclocking. The chipset has a TDP of 5.8 W. It was succeeded by the X570 chipset.
