The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D, released in July 2023 exclusively in the US, is a 6-core, 12-thread processor based on the Zen 3 microarchitecture. It has a base clock of 3.3 GHz and a boost clock of 4.4 GHz, with a TDP of 105 W. The processor uses the AM4 socket and is fabricated on a 7 nm process node. A key feature is the 96 MB L3 cache, achieved through AMD's 3D V-Cache technology, which significantly reduces latency and improves gaming performance beyond the standard Ryzen 5 5600X. The cache hierarchy also includes 384 KB L1 and 3 MB L2 cache. The Ryzen 5 5600X3D supports dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory and provides 24 PCIe 4.0 lanes.
