The Intel B660 is a chipset designed for desktop platforms using the LGA 1700 socket. It was released in January 2022 with a launch MSRP of $31. The chipset supports PCIe 4.0 and 3.0, providing 14 total PCIe lanes. It features DMI 4.0 for communication with the CPU. Memory overclocking via XMP/EXPO is supported, but ECC memory is not. The B660 offers four SATA III ports and a range of USB ports: two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, six USB 3.2 Gen 1, and twelve USB 2.0. It includes an integrated MAC for Ethernet and supports Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211. Intel Rapid Storage Technology is also supported.
