The Intel B760 is a mainstream chipset for desktop platforms using the LGA 1700 socket, launched in January 2023. It has a TDP of 6 W and supports both DDR4 and DDR5 memory, as well as PCIe 4.0 and 3.0. The chipset provides 14 PCIe lanes, 4 SATA III ports, and a DMI 4.0 interface to the CPU. It includes integrated MAC for Ethernet and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211. USB connectivity includes 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, 4 USB 3.2 Gen 2, 6 USB 3.2 Gen 1, and 12 USB 2.0 ports. The B760 supports Intel Rapid Storage Technology and memory overclocking via XMP/EXPO but does not support CPU overclocking or ECC memory. It is designed for use with Intel Core processors of the 12th, 13th, and 14th generations.
