The ROG Crosshair VIII Impact is a Mini-DTX motherboard from ASUS, featuring the AMD X570 chipset and an AM4 socket. It supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory across two slots in dual-channel configuration. The board offers one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, along with two M.2 slots (one via SO-DIMM.2) and four SATA ports. Rear I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Networking is handled by an Intel I211-AT Ethernet controller and Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200. Audio is provided by a ROG SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC. The board is the first Impact in the Crosshair lineup and features an active finned heatsink.
