Intel Atom x5 E8000 CPU

The Intel Atom x5 E8000 is a 4-core, 4-thread processor from 2016, based on the Airmont microarchitecture and built on a 14 nm process.

The Intel Atom x5 E8000 is a low-power processor released in January 2016, featuring four Airmont cores with a base clock of 1.04 GHz and a boost clock of 2.0 GHz. It has a total L2 cache of 2 MB and a TDP of just 5 W, making it suitable for fanless or power-constrained designs. The CPU supports DDR3L-1600 memory across two channels and does not support ECC memory. It includes integrated Intel HD Graphics (for N3000 series) and provides 4 PCIe 2.0 lanes. The processor uses the FCBGA1170 socket and was discontinued on June 30, 2022. Its launch MSRP was $18 USD.
