Intel Core i7-4770S CPU

The Intel Core i7-4770S is a 64-bit quad-core desktop processor based on the Haswell microarchitecture, manufactured on a 22 nm process. It features 4 cores and 8 threads via Hyper-Threading, with a base clock of 3.1 GHz and a boost clock of 3.9 GHz. The processor includes 8 MB of L3 cache and has a TDP of 65 W, making it a lower-power variant of the Core i7-4770. It supports up to two channels of DDR3-1333/1600 or DDR3L-1333/1600 memory at 1.5V, with a maximum memory capacity dependent on the motherboard. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 provides basic graphics capabilities without the need for a discrete GPU. The processor uses the FCLGA1150 socket and provides 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. It supports instruction sets including SSE4.1, SSE4.2, and AVX2, but does not support ECC memory and has an unlocked multiplier. The CPU was released in April 2013 with a launch MSRP of $305 and was discontinued on June 30, 2021.
